Anthony Bourdain calls Rachael Ray "evil"

Rachael RayNow, this isn't exactly breaking news. Bourdain has had a lot of things to say about Rachael Ray, as well as other TV cooks like Sandra Lee and Emeril Lagasse. But his venom is a little bit more specific this week.

The Kitchen Confidential author/No Reservations star takes a dig at Ray for endorsing Dunkin' Donuts in the latest issue of Outside:

"She's got a magazine, a TV empire, all these best-selling books - I'm guessing she's not hurting for money. She's hugely influential, particularly with children. And she's endorsing Dunkin' Donuts. It's like endorsing crack for kids ... That's evil!"

Of course, Ray's reps answered Bourdain by saying that if you watch her shows (all 40 of them), she actually preaches moderation.

YEAH BOURDAIN!!!!! ray is an ahole. not only is it donuts that are a problem its coffee too! no one sees that. kids are sucking that stuff down like its nothing. and you know the kids are not drinking it black or with a smidge of milk or cream, they are thowing all sort of s*** in there! pure fat, pure sugar. i see parents letting their 4 year olds drinking their coffee, decaf or not, its just not good. especially for girls. drug companies love coffee. the girls today will be the women tomorrow that need fertility drugs because they can't get pregnant from all the caffine they have been drinking most of their lives. realize this, females, you are born with all your eggs, your body does not make them like the male body makes sperm. what you put in and do to your bodies effects those eggs. think about it. wake up and smell the coffee....and just say NO!

Dunkin' Donuts has awesome coffee, and more than donuts, and you don't have to eat what you don't want to eat. I don't eat donuts because I know it's not the best food choice, but I go to Dunkin's all the time for the coffee. So, drink up, Rachael, I'm with you - and good for you and your successes!

So if you follow that line of reasoning doesn't that make Krispy Kreme, Dunkin Donuts and mama'a home made donuts equally if not more so evil than those that actually eat the darn things? Just some food for thought if not nourishment.

She must have a great agent, but eventually Im just hopeing everyone will just have enough of her, and need some R and R from Rachel Ray.

My parents met her at a winery out on Long Island. She was a total b*tch to everybody there. She wouldn't talk to anyone or even crack a smile when someone tried to say hi to her. Furthermore, I have family friends that met her on a different occasion, and they said the same thing! She was nasty and snobbish to them too. Rachael Ray is the Devil! She has everybody fooled!

Between motor mouth (RR) & big mouth (paula Deen)I don't know which one I dislike the most. Somebody mentioned Paula and her laying of that egg.......lmao I totally agree with that. She is an idiot, and when she comes on like RR, channel is turned. Sandi, she acts as if she has been cooking since birth, and entertaining for YEARSSSSSS.
Her Grandmother taught her everything! did they have Hidden Valley packets back when our grandmothers were young? NO! and that is what she mostly uses. So, that's crap. I could kick Oprah's ass for promoting R. Ray for sure. Paula Deen, If you read this.......take note... it is a SPATULA.......NOT SPATSLER. Idiot. I use to watch it all the time, but I rarely watch it anymore.

This argument is like trying to blame video games for kids violence. In simpe terms Complete BullShit

She is irresponsible and greedy and her perky good looks has taken her further than she deserves, but as with other celebrity pigs (i.e. Britney) her time will come and her star will fall to earth and evaporate.

She talks like we are a bunch of morons.. and she is the one coming off moronic. She needs to lose five pounds just from her butt. And maybe get breast augmentation. She needs at least a C cup.

If you watch Ray closely, her face sometimes goes completely blank for a spilt second, as if she's trying to remember which emotion to register next.
And Bourdain seems to be a chronic malcontent who tries so hard to appear nonconformist that he's actually ordinary.

Don't even get me started on Paula Deen. I'm from the South, and nobody, repeat NOBODY, is that southern, but that's another issue altogether.

Let us not forget: It is the public that makes these "chefs" into superstars--don't put Rachel(or any of the rest of them) on a pedestal, and maybe your kids won't, either! Like virtually all celebrities, these "media cooks"--and "media critics" (and that is ALL THEY ARE)seek the bottom line, the almighty dollar. If we ignore them, maybe they will eventually go away! I think any one of us can be just as creative in the kitchen as they, and their public, think they are. Ignore hype, teach your children to ignore hype, and all of us will be better off in the long run.

Please give the mother's of America a little more credit. I am capable of treating my family to a donut, explaining that it is a treat, and then we play ball, take a walk, or some other activity. Perhaps if Mr. Bourdain found something else to do in his spare time, he wouldn't have to bash others.
