Campbell's Chunky soup recall

can of campbell's chunky potato with cheddar and bacon bitsIt seems like every I turn around these days, there's another food recall being issued. Tonight it's coming from Campbell's Soup Company. They are voluntarily recalling more than 72,000 cans of their Chunky Baked Potato with Cheddar & Bacon Bits Soup because they may contain small pieces of plastic that run a choking and health risk. Three people have reported small injuries around the mouth from consuming this soup.

Consumers who purchased the Chunky Baked Potato with Cheddar & Bacon Bits soup with the can code JUL 08 2009 07097 are advised to return the product to the store where it was purchased for an exchange or refund.

Also, little bits of plastic? I can understand some food contamination, but how do you pack tens of thousands of cans with inedible plastic bits?

They probably found a part of conveyor belting that had pieces missing and for the sake of safety recalled all the cans. That is a huge expense and you probably only have a very few that might contain a small piece. You have to remember these cans were probably all ran within a day or two. These issues are not taken lightly in these plants.

I love that soup too. It's pretty pathetic that America has to worry about what them and their families eat anymore.... their kids play with, what cars they drive, what water they drink. Come on, give me a break.

I thing your comment about the Campbell's soup was a stupid one. South of the BORDER? I don't think so!
Must be a Gringo (American), or are we flawless?
Most of the people in this counrty are "RACISTS". Can anyone explain why? I'm American but I don't live on welfare, nor do the Mexicans that are here leagally or illegallt. Looks like you PoFolk (White American Trash)pulled this one off. Campbell's need to get their act together. I'm sure they have rodents and roaches crawling around the cannery. But, like anywhere else in this world, pay someone off and the can does get sealed. Huh? They has enough Insurance just in case their is an accidental death. So Jack, go get yourself some Campbell's Soup. Um, um GOOD!

These company's are very interested in protecting their customers, too. Why would they let something slip into a can, a bag, a wrapped candy bar??? That would hurt them also, financially. Keep an open mind or grow-make all your own food.

These are people that do the low paying jobs arrogant Americans won't do. They are picking up after your lazy ass, doing your dirty work, looking after your brats, (while you go to work for bigger $$ than they can dream of), for a price Americans sneer at. People like you make me angry, every one deservs a deent wage and sandard of living.

Lord knows that these countries don't monitor the terror threat as well as we do in this country! Jazzy...I'm in no way a racist, but, I know plenty of latinos on welfare! And why are there 12 mexicans living in a 3 bedroom house on my street? Their septic tank had to be pumped out 3 times this year! No offense, but, that's just plain disgusting, and perpetuates the spreading of illness, lice and other parasite infestations. I think they gave my dog fleas! Plain disgusting. I can only imagine what it's like to be born in Mexico or other third world countries, but, Jazzy, you need to respect the fact that you have the freedom this country affords to you! How about this, bring our jobs back to our country, and maybe we can get rid of welfare! Sound good?

And if you want to defend the illegals, then YOU go to work in the Government. You gripe about those Americans who make more money. Hmm, they must have education and therefore CAN make more money. Their taxes help YOU as well as the illegals. Talk about trash... From the looks of it, your relatives are probably already on welfare. Surely most Americans don't act or write this way. geeeeshh

Go back to school and learn to spell before putting something out there that a million people will read. Check the dictionary. Must be the "NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND" thing.
