Signs of Fall in food

a couple of packages of TastyKake pumpkin pies
Some people think that Fall has begun when the leaves start to turn or when the air finally starts to cool down at night. For others it is the start of school or the fact that darkness comes before 8 pm. Here in Philadelphia, it isn't Fall until the Taskykake Pumpkin Pies hit the shelves of our local grocery and convenience stores. What are the food products that mark the the change of the season for you?

Good thing you have a photo. When I saw the word "Taskykake", I thought it was a Japanese bakery.

it's fall. There are no change in seasons here,
except for two months at the beginning of year; instead of hot, it's warm. Being from the north, I miss the fall and its crimson hues. For those who
still live up there, I'm envious . . . until it snows.

Free glasses of the delicious cider with a take home bag of Apple Cider Cinnamon doughnuts (sigh)Living in Florida has it's winter perks, but Fall apple cider isn't one of them

For me though, it isn't so much "Fall on the menu" when I see certain things, but the one sure-fire way to get me to realize it's now officially winter ... even out here in California ... is Eggnog in the dairy case.
