While I'm generally icked and irked by the omnipresence of McDonalds' franchises spilling over the globe like love handles on an airplane seat divider, I have always been delighted by their regional offerings. In Baltimore, we'd brave the Howard Street branch with the cracked glass and the permanently-lodged wall bullet to get our limited-time fix of the McCrabcakes. They were pretty darned passable, and at $2.99 or so, infinitely more student budget friendly than those at the Charles St. crabeterias that would have taken one look at our paint-splattered clothes and sent us off with our claws cracked.
I've sampled McLobster Rolls in Maine, have heard tell of McPoi in Hawaii, and know y'all have McSweet Tea in some points South, so I'm assuming that individual franchisees are allowed a small bit of leeway with the local fare. Might y'all be so kind as to share what regional food items you've seen Ronald offer up? Serve it up in the comments section below.
(UPDATE: I just remembered that in the Orly airport as I was leaving Paris, I saw that the McD offered a choice of a sweet or salty breakfast. I call that win-win.)
(Photo snapped by my pal Craig on a train in Japan. It doesn't say what's been done to the pork, or how it's formatted, so I'm gonna go with "Porkburger".)

it's the Ravioli sandwhich I invented.
Is easy to make. Warm some raviolis, then arrange a few on a slice of good sourdough bread- top with two thin slices of smoked provolone, and nuke till the cheese is melted, cover with another slice of bread, and cut in half - result ? Ravioli sandwhich.

Here, in Buffalo, NY, we pretty much have the standard Mickey D's fare, but what I did like, and I don't know if they still have it, is their taco salad. That was yum. Another thing I like are their little sundaes and cones. Good for a buck. the best place is Wendy's - good taco salad, and I love Burger King's veggie burger. No, I'm not a vegetarian, just love to eat a bit healthier in those places.

How can you expect anybody to take you seriously when you give that blah, nothing tasting Southern Chicken sandwich an A?? It makes all your other reviews BS. This has got to be the worst sandwich ever, dry no lettuce, no tomato, no sauce...just a dab of butter. Yuck! It's McCrap. TY

To me, the other fast food chains, grilled chicken sandwiches don't even come close to the quality or taste that McDonalds does. I believe you dropped the ball on this. The lowest grade it should have gotten is maybe a B- and that is only because somepeople may not like grilled chicken very much.

You should ( NOT ) try the new southern chicken sandwich! If you dare to try it, be prepared, as the commercial promises "Pan (bread), breaded chicken patty, and Pepino(pickles)" that is all that is on this totally dry tasteless sandwich. There are 2 little pickles, and absolutely no mayo or dressing of any kind.
The breading has no flavor, so even if you try to add your own dressing, the patty is flavorless. If you see this sandwich your way, avoid it!!!
(The only reason I bought it was the fact Mickey D's sent me a coupon for a free one!)I still want my money back!!!!

What you like I may not like at all.

Also if you don't eat all your butter they put it on the next table, how gross is that.
Soda fountain nozzles are also full of dirt and roaches at restaurants so stop slamming McD and start slamming the big eater places. They are gross and dirty behind doors.

I bought this Chicken sandwich at McD's and it was just about the worst thing I ever tasted! It had no taste and I could only get about 3 bites in before I had to throw it away. Just goes to show me I have been right by not eating there all these years. Never will again.

Anyone tried the McD's chicken sandwhich that's supposed to taste country? The breaky one looks yummers, all biscuited up and such. The lunch/dinner version has this pickle flat in the middle. I returned it twice, after asking for NO pickle and finding it still reaking of the horrid green juice. What was the problem?? Well, they use the brush to dust with butter OVER the pickles.. so it's impossible to get a buttery taste without pickle juice.
Gross.
