Do you eat breakfast?
I usually don't eat anything for breakfast. Yes, I know, that's bad. "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day" and all that, but I'm never in the mood to cook anything in the morning (and I'm trying not to eat as many muffins or breakfast bars), so I usually just grab a cup of hot tea. Even that's only in the fall and winter since I don't eat hot tea in the spring and summer, so I usually go breakfast-less.
However, because September is Better Breakfast Month, maybe this is the month that I actually start eating breakfast on a regular basis. Eating breakfast can actually help you lose weight and improve your mind, and the A View of America site has a ton of recipes you can try, including everything from Apple Omelettes and Eggs Benedict to Party Salmon Crepes and Swedish Pancakes.

I'm actually a huge fan of breakfast but never get a chance to eat it (nor is it always the healthiest fat and grease tend to make up most breakfast items). Egg sandwiches are my killer.
As eating breakfast is great for health and metabolism (crucial to losing the lbs) I go with a big piece of fruit. Best thing to do in my eyes.

So are you endorsing the Jimmy Dean microwaveable chocolate chip pancake and sausage on a stick? Is this what you're suggesting for those who don't have time to make breakfast? Have you actually had these? Not judging here, just curious.

My ideal breakfast would be a bunch of fresh fruit and some Cream of Wheat, but usually I find myself gobbling down a couple pieces of peanut butter toast on my way to work. If only I wasn't an insomniac...

my husband and I have found an easy and tasteful way to get our daily fruit requirement,,we drink Monavie. The current daily recommendation of 5 to 10 servings of fruit and vegetables a day translates to approximately 4000 – 7000 ORAC units per day. Consumption of 1 ounce of MonaVie is roughly 1000 – 1200 ORAC units. Monavie is a juice made up of 19 fruits including the ACAI berry. The ACAI berry has been named the #1 superfood in the world by Dr. Perricone. My family drinks 2oz in the morning and 2oz at night and have never felt better.

My fave breakfast, a slice (or two) of wheat toast with (organic) peanut butter and a small glass of 1% milk. Fantastic, filling, and healthy.

I haven't been a regular breakfast eater in years. Mostly it's that I don't have time in the morning. I rarely get up when my alarm goes off. I also have a hard time eating early in the morning because of stomach upset. I was making smoothies before bed for a while, but I just moved and I haven't properly restocked my kitchen yet. A breakfast smoothie is probably the best thing I can think to eat in the morning.

Chocolate chip pancakes and sausage on a stick..? That looks just so hilariously bad and disgusting.
I'm just out of college so breakfast was mostly ignored for the past four years. When I had a few extra minutes on the way to class (or before exams when I would get up a little earlier) I would stop in the student center for fresh squeezed orange juice and a banana. But when I actually had time to eat something that I couldn't just stuff in my face while sprinting across campus, they had a really nice yogurt bar with fruits and granola.
They also had a ridiculous made-to-order omelette bar that usually resulted in some 2lb artery-clogging monstrosity. But we'll pretend I never went there.

Those Jimmy Dean sticks are disgusting.
The coating is horribly sweet and makes
the house reek of syrup smell to high heaven when they
are cooking : X Adding chocolate chips
to those probably doesn't help. And this
is coming from someone who loves mixing
foods together / eating weird combinations and has
a big sweet tooth. Bleh.

Ever since I've started eating a regular breakfast, my energy levels have really increased. Every morning I have breakfast right when I get up, because I don't allow myself to snack much at night. I make some oat bran, which has a good combo of fat/protein/fiber and add a little vanilla or maple extract and a touch of cream or honey. And I eat whatever fruit is in the fridge, along with some coffee, tea, or Crystal Light orange flavor (real orange juice disgusts me--I know, I'm weird). Eating wakes me up, and I eat slow and watch the news or read. By the time I'm done, I'm ready for the day.
