We're focusing on kids going back to school, but that doesn't mean we have to ignore the "big kids" who go back to work.
For those of us who opt to pack a lunch and eat at our desks rather than socializing with our co-workers over lunch at the cafe on the corner, Workplace is a convenient way to take your food and eat it too. The set is a personal plate, bowl, cup and utensils, all snugly wrapped together in a placemat that will protect your desk from whatever soup/sandwich you brought from home. Of course, keeping crumbs out of your keyboard is another story.
Available from Vessel for $29.

What a neat product. I've always wanted to eat my desk... and work for some popular weblog, earning a small salary as a spell-checker, preventing this sort of embarassing grammatical snafu. I'm available.

It's cute, but why not just keep a nice set of regular dishes in your desk? I keep a stoneware plate and bowl at work, along with flatware. If I'm going to transfer food from tupperware to a plate, I don't want that plate to be plastic, too. I might as well just eat out of the tupperware.

Tupperware basically what this is. I really enjoy the little thing for the utensils tho. When I bring my lunch to work in tupperware i got my untensils wrapped in a paper towel in my backpack. It's somewhat convenient to have it all together like this. It looks damn cool i give em' that.

But it's not made for transporting food, if you look at the photos they have on their site. It's just dishes.
