Did you know some people use Pam cooking spray in the bathroom? It's true!
And I'm not talking about that episode of Seinfeld where Kramer cooks in this shower. This is used on the toilet. The seat, to be precise. Our friend Heather over at our sister blog DIY Life reports that her brother helps with the kids and uses the Pam on the seat so things won't be as, um, messy when her son does his job.
Other uses around her house include her son using it to spray the wooden deck so he can snowskate in the summer. This sounds awesome and dangerous, or dangerously awesome. It's like Paula Deen meets The X-Games!
Go on over to DIY Life and tell Heather other uses you have for Pam.

My grandmother has been using "Pam" for years to spray the inside of her plastic containers, This way when she freezes a batch of her homemade tomato sauce her containers are no longer left with that permanent red stain.

I actually used Pam the other day on the inside of a door jamb that leads to my backyard. It is VERY tight and takes an act of congress to open (layers of paint and humidity). The Pam has worked wonders!!!

I couldn't figure out why someone would spray Pam on a toilet seat.
I followed you link and found that, in fact, the brother used it on the bowl of a potty seat in order to make it easier to empty, not the seat of a toilet. Makes a lot more sense that way.
An oily toilet seat is just plain wrong. Sounds more like a prank.

Pam is also good if you have a pet hamster/gerbil to oil their exercise wheel. It won't be harmful to the creature and can't help stop that wheel noise.

The mom I work for sprayed some Pam ("for Baking, with Flour" because that was all she had) along the track of a sliding screen door that was sticking terribly. Slid perfectly after that, although we did have to keep shooing the dog away because it was licking the door non-stop...

does anyone remember that scene in the movie Joe Dirt where Joe is working as a carny and uses Pam to spray the bowls so that quarter won't stay in them for prizes? classic.
