OK, what's going on here? Yesterday was National Raspberry Cake Day, and today it's National Raspberry Cream Pie Day? Did the raspberry growers of America get together and create these two celebrations and put them on consecutive days?
I mean, I've never even heard of Raspberry Cream Pie!
But there are recipes. Oh, yes, there are recipes. Here's one from RecipeSource, and here's another from CDKitchen. That site also has a few variations on the recipe, including Chocolate Raspberry Cream Pie and Raspberry Cream Cheese Pie. Epicurious has one for Black-Bottom Raspberry Cream Pie.
