As a promotion for the new Simpsons movie, Ben & Jerry's has created a limited edtion ice cream called Duff 'n D'Oh-Nuts.
But before you get all excited, it's not really flavored with beer. They're using a cream stout-flavored ice cream mixed with chocolate ice cream and chocolate glazed donuts. They're also renaming (for one day only) their Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream Chocolate Chip Cookie D'oh.
And when they say "limited edition," they mean it. It's for one day and one time only, this Saturday, at a special day-long celebration and screening of the movie in Springfield, Vermont, which won a contest to be named as the official premiere town for the movie.

7-19-2007 @4:33PM Laura K said... Really? I think it sounds pretty good. Cream stouts make excellent ice cream, and donut dough doesn't seem that different from, say, cookies and cream. I'm almost tempted to drive to Vermont to taste it...or just try to make it at home.
