Ah, M&Ms. If you were to name the 10 or 20 classic candies, I'm sure M&Ms would be on that list somewhere. It's a candy we eat as kids and adults, those talking candies are so damn cute in the commercials, we eat them at the movies, and if you haven't heard yet, they melt in your mouth, not in your hand.
The official M&Ms site has a ton of recipes you can make from the little colorful guys. Everything from cookies and cheesecake to brownies and soup. OK, maybe not soup, but seriously, there's a lot of cool snacks here, and they have a handy section of the top 10 recipes.
The Bird's Nest Cookies are coconut/sugar cookies with a bunch of M&Ms in the middle. The M&Ms Cheesecake looks interesting, because it not only utilizes the candies but also crushed chocolate cream sandwich cookies. And if having just M&Ms in a dessert/snack isn't enough for you, try the elaborate Brownie Trifles, which also has Snickers Bars in it.
There's even a recipe for Baklava, which uses the smaller, M&M baking minis.

my family discovered a ready-in-10-seconds snack last year. just take a few saltine crackers, put peanut butter on top, and then put as many m&ms on the top as you would like.

Congrats and have fun!

I have heard that you can get customized M&Ms! I am helping to plan a wedding, and we had actually considered doing this for favors, by getting the couple's initials put on there...you can do this cheaper since your intials will already be MM!!!

Check out www.mymms.com. You can personalize and choose your own colors for your wedding. I've ordered them for several parties and they were great.
Have fun and Congrats!

We got miniature terra cotta flower pots, painted them black and silver and filled them with both plain and peanut m&m's.. wrapped them in netting with a ribbon and a gerber daisy flower. The regular colored m&m's were perfect because we had a November wedding and used fall colored flowers, mainly gerbers and mums.. so the m&m's matched the flower colors. Then we made a little table placecard that had a clip art of a bride and groom m&m. Good luck with your wedding!!
