Stephen Asprinio to host new television show

Since his days on the Bravo! Network's Season 1 of Top Chef, Stephen Asprinio has been one very busy man. We've already heard about his new restaurant concept, Forte di Asprinio, located in West Palm Beach, Florida, but now Stephen is set to host a new TV show on Wine Television appropriately entitled "Wine Chefs."

Targeting "the next generation of wine consumers", Asprinio will feature fine wines and pair them with culinary treats, no doubt educating everyone along the way about the entire process from grape to bottle.

Certainly not one to miss any marketing opportunity, the show will be filmed at Stephen's new restaurant in Florida.

(thanks, snekse!)

Most people, highly skilled and talented, and in the Public Eye have to keep a stiff upper lip to contend with such idiotic scrutiny, or just ignore it altogether..

I admit he seems to have skill and knowledge, but I'd never consider patronizing any establishment of his.

Asprinio is a classy, capable chef who had the misfortune to try to educate other people in an age when admitting you know three-syllable words is practically waving a red flat in front of morons.

I applaud him. We need more people like Stephen and Marcel, not more Ilans, Cliffs and Elias.

And get a sense of humour, you all! The guy was funny as heck with his wine fixation. Season 1 was the better because of him.

I wouldn't go near anything with his name on it.

Won't be watching this...

Yeah, he's a bit of a boor...but I'll bow to his knowledge on wines any day. He's the youngest sommelier out there. Nobody can match his accomplishment so why listen to anyone else?

I especially love how he got busted by Chef Ripert on the Top Chef Holiday Special for having too much lavender. If anyone should understand what it is to have a "touch of the lavender", it's this huge flaming 'mo.

I think he will fail in all endeavors simply because he is so universally despised.

?? SHAME ON YOU!

Stephen was awesome in Top Chef, and I think that he's greatest chef I ever known, but that's my opinion. And I can't wait I'll see more his work on television.
He know what he's doing, he don't keep rush, and what is the most important; he's food is so great!
I have heard that Stephen is a snob and too clean, but hell yeah, I'm too. Am I snob too? No, I just like to do those things that way, and everybody have their own ways, yeah?
Stephen, you rock!

And if you affirm that that "this guy" steals, well so do I. And you. And every fucking cook in this planet.
I heard and I saw so many GOOD advices, when Top Chef's season 1 was still running.
I wish good luck to u, Stephen. Never mind what like these^^ blockheads say to you.
