This is thinking a little too much outside the bun.
A Nebraska family is suing the owners of the Mid Plains Food and Lodging KFC/Taco Bell franchise after an employee allegedly spit and urinated in their food.
Not only does the suit claim that employees did that nastiness, but it also says that there was actually a separate pan in the kitchen set aside for police officers (the father of the family is a cop) that employees would use for, ahem, "special servings" of food. The family says one of the children got very ill and had to go to the ER and that another child got sick too. Yikes.
The suit also says that management was aware of what happened before and after the incident and that they let the employee keep his job anyway. That employee has already plead guilty in an earlier lawsuit.

Not a surprise to me. Growing up I knew several less-than-savory classmates from high school who worked at local fast food establishments (pretty much all of the big chains) and let's just say that any body fluid you can think of at one point was incorporated into the menu, especially with the after midnight crowd. Teenagers aren't exactly known for their ideal behavior, so eat at your own risk.

I had a totally different experience. I worked at a Taco Bell, and we were very clean and always gave cops a free meal. What a shame this happened. :(

I remember when I was a kid, about 15 years old...that was about 30 years ago,I had a friend who worked at the KFC in Bellingham Washington ,who said that all of the employees would LOOGIE(spit snot)in the BBQ sauce that they would dip the chicken in for the special BBQ chicken....Boy, how special that BBQ was, most people didn't know....They did that regularly.!!!So this is nothing new and has been going on for years....I'm glad I live on a small island with no fast food restaurants......Scary isn't it??!!

Another reason I consider myself to be lucky to live in a part of the world where good Mexican food is cheap and readily accessible.

OMG, another chance to rage on a large fast food chain!!! TROLLS;GO!!! It's sad an incident like this happened, and it's pretty disgusting, but this is no reason to shiat on a particular chain just because one franchise screwed the pooch.

While some spitting and maybe even some urination could have happened, claims that it would have made the children ill are complete hogwash. It may be disgusting, but it isn't going to cause anybody to fall ill.
But anything that takes a chunk out of taco bell/kfc/pepsi and the rest of that garbage is fine by me.

I found this post on a bulletin board and it seems like it's a good news story about horrible stuff that happens in fast-food restaurants:
Here's the post:
>>Lawsuit against Village Inn
>>[I could not figure out how to put a subject heading on this post.]
>>My cousin sent me a document in a lawsuit against Village Inn. See: http://base.google.com/base/a/2324095/D9065247267969263099
>>It's so horrible that I can't figure out whether it will help DENN or drag the whole industry down.
>>The restaurant being sued had people drinking, smoking pot, having sex with each other, and doing horrible stuff to the food. There are even links to pictures and YouTube videos that show Village Inn employees smoking pot using a pipe made out of sausage. Crazy!
The original is at: http://www.boardcentral.com/cgi-bin/aios.cgi?s=DENN&D1=5&mb_all=default&partner=c4ca4238a0b923820dcc509a6f75849b&f=
I checked the youtube videos, and those show employees smoking dope from sausage pipes. Go to: http://youtube.com/watch?v=nydVqbz_VQI
If you read the legal document that's linked to, you find out what the cook did to someone's scrambled eggs. eww.
