
Seems like these double duty utensils -- like the Asian fusion chopsticks and fork, Chork -- are all the rage. Now we have something that's not as obviously named, but just as doubly functional: the froggetmee, a combination spoon and pair of chopsticks. I think I'd rather call it a "choon."
Judging by the picture, I can't see how this, like the chork, could work as chopsticks, unless the "tines" are flexible enough to push together. Regardless, it's interesting, and probably makes eating a bowl of ramen more efficient, albeit a little messier. I can't imagine you wouldn't drip broth from the back end spoon when using the chocsticks side!

6-25-2007 @10:42PM alex said... Asian people rarely use spoons unless its for porridge but definitely not for soups. They just drink the soup from the bowl. Fast and easy. Maybe this is from a person who was chopstick deficient. :D
