Ben & Jerry's UK has announced the release of their latest flavor which is dedicated to the band Queen, and what else could it possibly be named other than Bohemian Raspberry? Composed of Vanilla Ice Cream with Fudge Brownies and Raspberry Swirls (really, does chocolate always have to be added?) 10p from each tub will be donated to the Mercury Phoenix Trust, the charity set up in memory of Freddie Mercury, dedicated to fighting aids worldwide.
I haven't seen this advertised as being available in any markets other than the UK yet, but since raspberry is one of my favorite flavors I'm hoping it will make it's way across the pond.

Can't we come up with an interesting flavor combo once in a while, that doesn't cater to the same tired tastebuds? Hell, give it to some of the contestents who lost the contests, but were contenders -- like the sesame brittle crunch or canolli. I'd try something new, if only I saw something actually NEW.

And um, tracy? If one really wants to help AIDS don't you think there are better, more direct ways than to purchase and eat an ice cream one doesn't like so 10p will go to a charity?
