The 7 most sugar-filled drinks

Sunkist orange drinkThe Diet Blog has a list of the seven drinks that have the most sugar in them. I don't drink any of these (though I did go through a weird phase several years ago when I was drinking Sunkist Orange Drink all the time) because I drink diet soda and tea, and if I do have juice it's low-sugar orange juice or Ruby Red Light.

Sunkist Orange does make it on the list, at No. 4, with 87.5 grams of sugar in a 20 oz bottle (35 grams in the 8 oz). Other drinks on the list include Minute Maid Cranberry Grape and Sobe Adrenaline Rush. I'll let you click on the link above to find out what number one is.

Read what readers say at the link too, some interesting comments there.

Just drink juice(which is good for you) and soda in moderations and if you can do away with soda all together most dr.s will evan tell you if your gonna have soda a little regular is safer than the diet ones..I'd rather deal will caveties or a few extra pounds that brain tumors or cancer and a lot of people are allergic to the chemicals and don't realize it..

I saw that on TV some time back where 3 doctors gave their comments on Equal. Splenda will give you leg muscle problems. Your best bet is water.

I have been a diabetic for over a year. I love sugar free Oreos, and Deluxe, Ice Cream, No Sugar Added. The flavors are Vanilla, Rocky Road, Butter Pecan, and Mint Chocolate Chip. I drink Sugar-Free Diet Pepsi.

I do not feel deprived. My blood sugar is now 123.

As a school nurse- I set out a Nutrition table of samples during lunch ( high school students). 1 snack size zip-lock bag holds 15 teaspoons of sugar which is the basic equivalent of sugar in most soft drink cans supplied in the soda machines at school- I can honestly say the students were astounded to see and hold the baggy-that much was going in thier bodies!! Luckliy- opur school district is doing away with the machines, offering more fresh fruit, salads, and whole grain rolls. Educate your children!

Am A diabetic WHO started to drink sunkist Diet daily several times a day, as it has a wonderful taste.
It almost killed me, i went into an insulin resistance mode, no matter how much insulin I pump in my body it would not control my sugar levels, then my kidneys began to fail and my blood pressure went dangerously high, the doctor could not figure out what was wrong with me.
I spent thousands of dollars in medicating and tests.
it was my wife that said maybe is the sunkist soda, and I said it is sugar free.
So we read the ingredient label, and baboon there it was,"modified Corn starch" Which everyone knows is high carbohydrates and one step away from being sugar, so the body takes corn starch and turns it into glucose.
If you are a diabetic and drinking diet sunkist , and have trouble with controlling sugars , this is why.
contact me if you had this problems with diet sunkist.
Maybe we can change the company's labeling policy.
