Cupcake Cufflinks?

Some might describe these as the perfect accessory for the well-dressed foodie, but I'm just not convinced that they really need to be added to anyone's wardrobe. Pink describes them as "a fun and tasty accent to our summer collection. Sterling silver cupcakes 'iced' with white enamel and a glass candied cherry in the centre. Chain link connector leads to a glass 'cherry' base."

Love them or hate them, I'm leaving this one up to you to decide. However, I may influence the votes a little bit with this additional information - they cost $150 a pair.

Well, first, they are Thomas Pink .. so they rock :-) ... and I always hear people say cufflinks can be so boring ... these are not!

Thomas Pink's name can't save them... They're just silly. Being a girl in french cuffs and cufflinks is going to get me enough looks, I don't need the links to say "cupcake" in any way, shape or form.

Not, though, that I think it's impossible for any food item to be used to advantage in this kind of application...

Perhaps a small silver or enameled jalapeno? I could see a stylized fish working... There've just -got- to be better choices available than a bit of dessert that's also a sexual epithet. (not that that alone is what makes this a poor fashion chioce... it just adds to the insipidity.)
