Late last week we took at look at some sinfully delicious sounding Bourbon Ice Cream and a number of you weighed in with recipe ideas of your own. Now it seems as though a dairy in New York state has come up with wine-flavored frozen treats.Available in three flavors -- Ala Port Wine, Peachy White Zinfandel and Red Raspberry Chardonnay -- Mercer's Ice Cream in Boonville, NY has been selling the frozen confection to restaurants in New York City and a marketing consultant for the company believes that the product could soon reach national appeal. The three new flavors join Mercer's already-existing line-up of 36 varieties.
These sumptuous treats aren't for children though, each pint contains the equivalent of one glass of wine.

Put two scoops of vanilla ice cream in a dish. Pour a glass of Port wine. Alternate eating a spoon of ice cream and sipping the Port.

They also had Champagne lace for the millenium. They have the finest ice cream ever. It is all natural and super creamy. The cream comes from their own cows.

The website is www.glacedevino.com or www.wineicecream.com. The flavors were amaretto cream sherry (to die for), strawberry cream chardonnay (incredible), chocolate cabernet sauvignon (amazing) and the best raspberry merlot (outstanding). They are selling this ice cream in the NYC areas and moving there way down the east coast as we speak. This Wine Ice Cream is Amazing!!
