Yes, you read that title correctly. In case you were blissfully unaware like I was, Just Born, the makers of Marshmallow Peeps, hold a 'Celebrity Survey' every year. Apparently they conduct this survey "to keep up with today's trends and cultures." Maybe it's just me, but I can't recall ever seeing anything other than various shapes and colors of Peeps emerging from their factories depending on the season. If their products have ever actually reflected trends and cultures, it is news to me. Now don't get me wrong, I love the little marshmallow treats as much as the next person - but there are limits. Though I'm fairly certain this one can simply be filed under "for those that have way too much time on their hands," in the spirit of Easter (or maybe just because it is Friday) I'll let you in on the results after the jump. I apologize in advance.
- 59% of voters believe that the Chick is cooler than the Bunny
- More people prefer to eat their Peeps fresh from the package rather than 'aged to perfection'
- When eating Peeps, most people prefer to eat them 'head first.' Second place went to 'as decorations/crafts,' and 'microwaved' was third
- If Peeps came to life, voters believe that they would most resemble Will Ferrell in the male category, and Jessica Simpson for the females. The criteria was 'most resembling Peeps either in physique, colorful attire, or sweet nature/personality. I'm not really sure if that is a compliment or not
- According to the public, President Bush is the male public person most in need of Peeps, followed by Donald Trump and Simon Cowell. Britney Spears takes down that category for the ladies, followed by Hillary Clinton and Paula Abdul

did they say what was everyone's favorite color? i think fresh & aged peeps have a whole different taste to them. i'll eat a few fresh and keep a few to "age" aka harden... which just makes them chewier and last longer anyways. i like the chicks better because they have a more unique shape to them and a funner head to bite off... HEE HEE. i also like the pink ones the best because it's basically whatever color you want the inside of your mouth to briefly turn.
