I'll skip over the obvious "American Fry" jokes and get right to it. Tara Reid, probably best known to the world for both her role in the American Pie movie franchise as well as her (former) globe-trotting, hard-partying lifestyle, has announced her plans to open a fast food establishment in Los Angeles. The new restaurant, set to open on March 31st, will be named Ketchup - and though the menu has not been released as yet, Tara herself plans to spend time in the kitchen "making sure everything is done properly."
Though it may seem like a strange move to some, the restaurant business is in her blood. Growing up in New Jersey, Tara's parents owned a bar, and she currently has shares in three other restaurants - Bella, The Shore and Geisha House.

Tara is a very attractive young woman, but you lost me when you mentioned that she will be spending time in the kitchen, "making sure everything is done properly".
Let her attach her name, face, and (especially) money to the place, like so many other celebrities. But leave the fries to the fry cooks!

Speaking of Tara Reid: is anyone else seeing that breastfeeding ad a lot on slashfood these days? Really not the kind of food I like to think about when I'm on this site.

At the first sign of any level of heat, I'm sure
she'll get out the kitchen. She should leave the food
business to us professionals, that way she won't have
to worry about smudging her make up.

Been to ketchup. It's a great chilled out environment with great, hip people. The lounge is relaxed, with ambience and a million dollar view overlooking the sunset strip! The menu is totally unique with saucy mouth watering choices. Tara bashers beware! A great place to check out and bring a date. Classy, elegant and American--like the lady herself.
