Cherry Coke is getting a new look, thanks to rap star and business entrepreneur Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter. He was involved with not only the design of the new can, but also the television commercials and marketing campaigns for the brand. The soda was relaunched last week at New York's Fashion Week, alongside the latest addition to the Coca-Cola family, Cherry Coke Zero. The advertising campaigns for both products went public on Valentine's Day, with outdoor, radio and point of sale ads, as well as a 30-second commercial (featuring a Jay-Z soundtrack) that debuted during that evening's episode of American Idol.

I don't know if its still sold, but for a while there was a Vanilla Cherry, or maybe Black Cherry Coke that was GREAT, much better than any of their other products. OK so sue me, I'm old and I like bands that actually ROCK! Ya know like the Beatles, and the Stones, and the Who, and Pink Floyd...

At least two diffirent times i grabbed it hurridly off the shelf brcause it was next to the Classic Coke. I wish that the company would sell C2 here in North Florida. I try not to drink too much Classic Coke I don't like Diet Coke or any of the other diet drinks. BUT... I am just one person and it would take many more for them to bring that one back to this market.
