Miller Chill, por favor?

If I say beer with lime, what instantly comes to mind? I bet it's Corona. The Miller Brewing Co. is hoping to change that perspective when it releases its latest product, Miller Chill, to test markets next month. The beer comes complete with salt and lime flavoring (chelada style) already added. Let's be honest, having to bring limes along camping, to a party, or anywhere else where it is inconvenient to cut up little wedges of fruit is a pain, so this should solve that problem nicely. Also, the beer is low-cal, what more could you ask for? I just hope it tastes as good as it sounds.

Hoping the beer will be a hit among the Hispanic population, Miller will begin test marketing next month in a number of states including Arizona, Florida, New Mexico, Texas and parts of California. If anyone has the opportunity to try it, please let us know what you think.

As virtually everyone has guessed, this beer sucks! I had a 4 ounce sample and couldn't finish it. Think Hornsby's Hard Cider + Fake lime juice. I'm sure there are some tweaker kids out there who will like it, and keep it around just like Zima.

As for me, I will not recommend this to anyone.

I for one like my beer to have a bite, as I'm an adult and don't need syrupy sugary drinks. I guess Miller is going after a younger crowd with this one. By the way, if you want a smooth real beer, try Brahma! Brazilian, awesome in the summer, no lime needed.

Also, the reason Corona goes with a lime is because it doesn't taste good w/o one. It comes in a clear bottle and therefore light can easily damage it...the lime disguises the skunkiness of it.

Keep an open mind, try the Miller Chill. I haven't heard anything bad about it from anyone who has actually tried it!!

It actually tastes like a Corona with a lime but with out the trouble of finding a lime then cutting it. It is definately a beer I will enjoy. Good for you Miller, my boyfriend drinks Miller Lite, now we both can enjoy a beer to match our personalities. Tropical & Refreshing for the Fun in The Sun!

Seems like they have a real winner with this one.

I love the new Miller Chill. It is refreshing and light tasting not to be confused with watered down. I would definitly recommend this to any beer lover. I definitly would recommend this to women. It is refreshing and great to go with hot foods.

It seems like we are tying to go up against the new "Landshark" from Budweiser. I love the packaging, much better looking than the cheap looking landshark. Anyone triend that beer? only time will tell if chill is a success. I wasnt sure about Leinys working down here but it has been on fire.

It wasn't until I was LOW on beer , but didn't feel like running to the store, that I popped one open... Guess what ? It was GREAT !!! - NO LIE---- Smooth, with a hint of lime, but not too salty at all that I could tell.....I made the switch I have to say....

What about people who find it hard to drink beer cause the taste is so disgusting. That would be me! And it has been driving my Husband crazy that I won't even have a beer with him when he comes home from work. And now that he has been in Iraq for a few months, when he comes home for R&R he is deffinatly going to want to go drink. I had my first taste of this beer tonight at a local bar. IT WAS PRETTY DAMN GOOD (And I CAN'T stand beer!!). I have tried for years to "aquire" the ridiculous taste of beer. Bud, Bud Lite, Miller, Miller Lite, Coors, Coors Lite, Corona (with the lime!) ect... It just doesn't work for me. But the Miller Chill was good from the first taste! I hope it stays on the market!!!

for me to try....This stuff was AWESOME!!!
I was surprised a how quickly it disappeared!! I only wish it was available
in the state of Georgia. Fortunately, my in-law works for a company that does advertising for acholic beverages. What she brought to me was "sample product". I would say Miller hit a "home run" on this one!!

Thanks!

My preference has been Corona for several years now, so I thought I would try the new Miller Chill . I was pleasantly suppressed. I enjoyed this well balanced combination of harmonized flavor to the last drop. Several of them actually, and without the pungent after taste that most American beers deliver. Two thumbs up, and five stars baby.
