Part cookbook and part party-guide, The Last Hurrah: the Ultimate Super Bowl Party Planner is probably the only book out there that is completely dedicated to Super Bowl parties and it covers everything you could ever want to know about them.

The book was released several months ago, so this is actually the first SuperBowl that it can be used for planning. I probably should have mentioned it a couple of weeks ago, as the timeline that they suggest spans far more than a few days and would have had you set up long before you could have even guessed that tomorrow's game would be the Bears vs. the Colts. Organizational strategies aside, the recipes include buffet favorites and lots of drinks, and are followed by a healthy helping of SuperBowl facts and triva. Because you know you want to end a meal of Hot Garlic Chicken Wings and Buffalo Shrimp with VIP trivia about SuperBowls' past.
