I mean really now, if ever someone said that cupcakes have gone the way of skinny jeans, their forecast was about as accurate as an LA weatherman predicting snow (oh crap, never mind). The cupcake craze carries on, and as such, new accessories periodically pop up. Earlier last fall, I spied the Cupcake Courier, a plastic case that lets you heroically transport three dozen cupcakes to your kid's bake sale. However, I thought three dozen cupcakes was a little much (over-supply drives down prices, you know), and the color of the plastic wasn't quite my style.
Crate & Barrel's 24-Cup Cupcake Carrier is sleeker and also more efficient. One of the "trays" in the case is a nonstick baking pan that stacks above its plastic partner. The plastic lid with handle snaps on, and you're off!
$19.95 at Crate & Barrel.
