Capri Sun lawsuit

The words "all natural" on the packaging of Capri Sun juice drinks have prompted a Florida woman to file a lawsuit against Kraft Foods, Inc., the drink's producer, the Associated Press reported. Assisted by the Center for Science in the Public Interest, Linda Rex of Boynton Beach, Fla., claims that the inclusion of high fructose corn syrup is what makes the drink in the little silver pouch less than "all natural." You might remember the CSPI from when they filed and then withdrew lawsuits against Kentucky Fried Chicken over trans-fat use last year, or for their similar actions against Starbucks. A recent press release from CSPI points out that the organization has also challenged 7UP's use of the word "natural." A statement from Kraft says that the "all natural" label was already on the way out and will soon be replaced with packaging that claims "no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives,'' the AP reported. CSPI's always-witty executive director Michael Jacobson, coiner of phrases such as "venti-sized health problems" and "Kentucky Fried coronary," said HCFS "would more accurately be called 'Fresh from the Factory.'"

Wow, what a coincidence! That ALL NATURAL banner has been on the package for as long as I can remember. When I was a kid, my mom would put a frozen Capri Sun in my lunchbox and it would still be cold at lunchtime. Once I realized that the stuff was nothing more than glorified Kool-Aid in fancy [unrecyclable] packaging, I asked my mom to stop wasting her money on the stuff; I'd rather have some real juice with ice cubes in my thermos.

You know what the funny thing is that Capri Sun has been around for how long and someone is just now complaining about the label, sounds like to me it is just another wealthy person trying to get more money and doesn't have anything else better to do with their time. Let's ask this question has anyone ever got hurt by drinking a Capri Sun before?

A lot of food products have been around a long time on the market. Many of these so called drinks, food, etc. on the market have varying levels of chemical agents within them. Some have food colorings, artificial flavors, hydrolyzed vegetable protein, etc. Many of the chemicals in the food supply orignate from "cold tar derivatives". In other words they come from OIL. It was determined over a hundred years ago that all cold tar derivatives cause CANCER.
Sure you may not get ill in the short term, however do you know what these foods and drinks do to your body in the long term?
I consider myself a wealthy person with time on my hands. What I do is educate myself of the garbage that is put in the food supply by the "food technologists" in the U.S.
Personally I do not eat anything processed. Period. I have a garden where I live. If you don't, you can simply do indoor gardening and grow your own sprouts. Americans do not get enough fresh, enzyme rich foods into their diet. The US diet truly is S.A.D., Standard American Diet.
Americans are the most overfed and undernourished individuals on the planet. They are obese, lack the energy to exercise or care for themselves. Basically they are ignorant of the biological laws that govern life and activity.
Maybe you and others don't have the time to find the time to prepare wholesome foods for you and your family. While you are seeking wealth, your health goes to hell. Eventually you must spend your wealth to obtain health. I wouldn't trust myself with the current allopathic health care system in the U.S. if my life depended on it. I would rather leave the country for reliable health care.
Yes, I do have that advantage as I travel overseas regularly and know many alternative practioners of medicine and health in other countries.
I am trained as a chef and also have a degree in nutrition, biology and chemistry. I have seen and handled many of these chemicals found in the food supply and they are hazardous. Many are outright poisons. Dilute them enough and they can be passed off as food additives.
Do you really think that the FDA, better known as the Faster Death Association cares about your well being? Many in the FDA are connected to the industry which they regulate. Its a revolving door between the agency and industry. Sounds similar to our politicians in Washington you become lobbyists after leaving high office.
The system is corrupt. YOU must take the first step to independence away from BIG BROTHER. This means all of it.

However the food tech and food chemists know just how much to add to various foods to consider them safe enough to eat.
In the long term when you get ill, you run to your local medicine man for an answer to your problems. Then you are prescribed a host of drugs. More chemicals for your body to deal with. The medical-industrial complex is no friend to the average person. One only look to the numbers of children has have a host of reactions from the vaccines required by law. The average is 32 jabs by age 5 across the U.S. In California it is now up to 35.
How many people are aware of how vaccines are manufactured or the additives in them such as thimersol(mercury), aluminum and formaldehyde. Go to http://www.whale.to/vaccines.html for more of that.

Again I do not take any drugs for any ailments.
Learn to take care of yourself. Find the time to care for your body. Don't leave that to some medicrat to dictate how you will live

Learn to take care of your body and break any connections to a very sick health care(more like a death care) system which can drain you financially.

Try feeding high fructose corn syrup to your pets or to insects and see how long they stay around.
Another example is to use ASPARTAME for controlling ants.

I suggest you educate yourself by visiting web sites such as Mercola.com, WestonAPrice.org, ChetDay.com or http://www.karlloren.com/

If you enjoy the dead, embalmed, chemicalized food offered as the S.A.D., thats your choice.

I suggest you read Eric Schlosser's book from a few years ago called "Fast Food Nation".
You can read some from his book at this URL(http://www.karlloren.com/diet/p94.htm)
Check out the section in the article called 'The Flavor Corridor' about the flavor industry in the U.S.

And your final question about anyone getting hurt over Capri Sun drinks.
Well maybe you could start an investigation into it.

Look to the rising numbers of cancers, diabetes and other ailments in the U.S.

Do yourself a favor and drink pure water. Your body is over 70% water at birth.
Sodas and most soft drinks are not water. They are syrups with the added sugars in various forms.

Your head is your house, furnish it.
Arabian Proverb.

Good luck and have a nice day.
