Brach's Gummi +Plus with Electrolytes

So it looks like Brach's Confections is getting big into the sports electrolyte replenishment game. First they came out with Brach's Sports Edge energizing fruit snacks with electrolytes and fortified with vitamin B-6 and b-12. Now they are releasing Brach's Gummi +Plus with Electrolytes is hitting the market with six flavors of these gummi candies. Lemon-lime, orange, blue raspberry, cherry, fruit punch, and strawberry flavor gummi candies will refuel you with 120 mg. of electrolytes. What types of electrolytes or the amount per serving remain a mystery to me until I can find them on store shelves, and I wonder... how do they taste?

If you knew how they make it these days noone would eat it. Gelatin has been made at home since well before the victorian period, and was made by boiling down animal parts. These days they will boil down just about anything to make gelatin, especially in the U.S., there isnt much regulation.

Fortunately there is gummin candy suitable for vegetarians, but it seems like noone ever thinks about it.

love the website, expecially the Gin reviews.....

jelly belly makes something similar in the sport beans- the only advantage to these over other power gels and whatnot is that it's easier to portion them over a workout, but other than that they are pretty much just straight junk food.
