Fall is my favorite season, for so many reasons (I'm a poet and I didn't even...well, you know the rest), and one of them is the food and drink options available. Fine Living has a list of 10 cocktails you can drink on those chilly fall days and nights. Maybe after a day of Christmas shopping, or when everyone is over your house on Thanksgiving Day and you're trying to figure out some way to have all of your family members get along.
The Ginger Martini includes vodka, lemon, and ginger syrup. Yeah, I've never heard of ginger syrup either, but the site has a recipe so you can make your own. The Roasted Pear Bellini combines pear nectar and champagne, and that sounds like a nice change-of-pace drink for a holiday party. The Cranberry Hot Toddies sound like something Ebenezer Scrooge would drink before he went to bed and was visited by all those ghosts. And the Smasking Pumpkin Martini has fall written all over it, with its use of Spiced Pumpkin Vodka, Amaretto, and pumpkin seeds.
Oh, and look! They also list the Apple Pie Punch, courtesy of Sandra Lee! I swear I didn't know she was on this list. Let the comments begin.
