I have 3 words for vegetarians: Savory Bread Pudding. Crusty bread, caramelized onions, cheese...whats not to love? I believe my family found this recipe on www.Recipezaar.com . It is a definite go to for brunch, dinner side dishes...etc

I've had about 12 vegetarian Thanksgivings so far, and believe me, I don't exactly go hungry. I've done everything from indulge in side dishes, to eating things like pasta, burritos, homemade lentil shepherds pie, Tofurky, Italian food, you name it.

I don't know why they're putting the Pick Your Own thing up now... I went picking three weeks ago, and all but a few places were picked out and closed. It was sad.

C'mon my vege-friends! Are you really subjecting yourself to a meal of sidedishes on thanksgiving? that's just lame! As a vegetarian my entire life, every year we have tons of vege alternatives for the feast. A great vegetarian main dish is a "loaf" which can be made from an array of different ingredients and can deliver tons of protein and whole grains. the best alternative is the tofurkey which is just plain delicious and can be found everywhere no adays. please, stop trying to make a meal out of cranberry sauce and mashed potatoes. not only is that boring, but your not getting decent nutrition!
