I love these breakfast bars, but my two local supermarket chains (Stop & Shop and Shaw's) haven't carried them in months. They carry the blueberry ones, and I've been eating those, but are they still making the banana ones? (Not the cereal bars, I'm talking about the muffin bars.)
According to their web site, they are. Unless, of course, the web site hasn't been updated lately. I have a vague recollection that there was a third flavor of muffin bar too when they first came out, maybe cinnamon? And they don't make those anymore, so maybe banana is going the same route?
I really like these things. I'm sure they're not necessarily healthier than other muffins or other cake-like foods you can eat at breakfast, but they aren't too bad (no trans fats), and they've improved the bars. They're more moist and flavorful now.
Anyone find them in their local stores?

AAAAHHHHHHHHHH!! I have one precious box left and my 5 and 2 year olds eat 2 a day. What is a stay at home mother to do?! I have also called Kelloggs, who claim they are still available in certain areas. Why does it seem that anything my very picky kids will eat is taken off of the shelves?

Well, here it is the end of November and they still are not on the shelf. I have not only noticed that they baited the consumer into addiction but now they have forced us into withdrawl, cold turkey and they have upped the prices on all of their other inferior products. We don't have a Win Dixie in So Cal. I'll keep searching and see what I can find. Yes America, we need to ban together and fight for our rights!!!! Robyn in Temecula

Update!!! I also sent an email to the Kellog company and guess what? They , a real person, actally responded! I recieved a very kind and sad letter informing me that the product has been discontinued due to lack of consumer favor. Can you believe that?
I should perhaps send the nice man the link to this blog so that he will see there IS a demand for their product. Their are real addicts out there in America who "need" their product on a daily basis! Sorry guys. But at least we can have some closure now and try as best we can to get on with our lives. Merry Christmas anyway.

WOW! I'm glad to know I was not the only person going from store to store looking for them. This is for the mother of two I located some on gophergrocery.com you must spend $35.00 and shipping is free if you spend $75.00 or more. People please let the babies have them first :) good luck Mom! Hope this helps all the addicts. However realize soon everyone will have to go through withdrawl since they are discontinued.

I can't believe they're gone for good. I really thought I was the only person searching store to store for any flavor muffin bar I could find. My favorite used to be cinnamon raisin, then I had to switch to blueberry, then I settled for banana when that was all I could find. Now I don't even care to eat breakfast! They were quick, easy, and healthy! I actually went to seven grocery stores last week in one day trying to find them. I'm very disappointed!!!!

Geez, I thought my husband was the only muffin bar loon. I'd been trying to find the blueberry ones for weeks, hoping to hit on a stash for Christmas. He was a devoted fan and follower, eating 2 a day (thank you, Costco).

This is just so depressing. I am so glad I found all of your comments. I have been looking for them for months and last week our local grocery store had them in the ad, so I of course drove down there like a crazy woman looking for them. Nope, they had none. These are so wonderful for anyone on Weight Watchers. I see they have now made some sort of banana something bars, but they are like a granola bar. I need my muffin bars! Grrr... Thanks all for helping me find out what happed!
