With soda to blame as one of the contributing factors to the nation's obesity problem, maybe you have vowed to ignore the nasty aftertaste of artificial sweeteners in diet sodas. Diet soda has zero calories, right?Well, now you might be able to go one step further with a new drink from Coca-Cola that actually helps you burn calories. Enviga is a sparkling green tea that supposedly steps up your metabolism because it contains caffeine, calcium and most importantly, "naturally active plant micronutrients that allegedly increase the body's rate of calorie burning."
Does it sound too good to be true? I doubt that you could realistically expect to lose 10 pounds by just sitting on the couch drinking Enviga all day. The article also says that it increases the calorie-burning rate in "healthy people with a lean-to-normal body type," which means for it to work, you already have to be healthy and lean. So do healthy, lean people even need this drink? It wouldn't hurt to try it. A poll (on the article) shows that a hefty majority (pun absolutely intended!) will try it when it hits stores in November. It's no secret that caffeine will amp you up, so you'll certainly have more energy to move around -- and moving around sure burns calories.

Which means that people following an effective diet-and-exercise plan could lose slightly more body fat by drinking the stuff, but it won't make a dent in most people's waistlines.
Meanwhile, at $1.29 to $1.49 per can, this is yet another expensive fortified food product with little intrinsic value. You'd save a lot of money and get the same results by buying green tea and brewing it yourself, or buying green-tea supplements and washing them down with regular Diet Coke.

I FOR ONE HAVE HEALTH PROBLEMS WHICH CONTRIBUTES TO ALOT OF MEDICATION AND NERVE DAMAGE IN MY BACK WHICH CONTRIBUTES TO LACK OF BEING ABLE TO EXERCISE.
IF YOU HAVE NEVER HEARD OF LUPUS GO TO WEBMD AND LOOK IT UP FOR INFORMATION OR BETTER YET GO TO THE LUPUS WEBSITE.
SO IN MY OPINION GREEN,RED,ORANGE,ETC. TEA OR ANYTHING ELSE WON'T HELP TAKE OFF POUNDS.

I suppose their exercise will be the movement of their arm bringing the can up and down to their excessively large mouths. Has everyone gone mad? Did the world forget that a fat ass is not from a genetic condition or being fooled by mcdonalds that the food is really shit and isnt good for you. How about every one get up and move a little, and stop eating like you never seen food before. Really, save some for the starving people around the world, better yet lets harpoonyour fat ass and feed them you!
