I don't know if it's more disturbing or more reassuring, but it seems that Americans are more likely to trust an actor like Brad Pitt before they trust a Senator like Ted Kennedy.According to organizational behaviorist James Bailey, we trust actors because we associate them with the characters they play on tv or in movies. Forbes has listed the 10 Most Trustworty Celebrities, as measured by Los Angeles-based Davie-Brown Talent, which measures more than 1,500 celebrities' trustworthiness. Not surprisingly, actors like Tom Hanks appear on the list, as does Oprah Winfrey. And most surprising of all to me?
Rachael Ray was #2.
How cool is that?!?!

Well I like her$40 show. But she is just everywhere and it is a bit much for me. The day time show I saw when Oprah was on and i dont think it was a good one. R. seemed so nervous and out of her element. Is it me, are does she seem as if she drank too much coffee!!

She regularly tips less than 15% on her $40 a day show. How trustworthy is that?

Rachel Ray trustworthy? I think not.
"she was a deadbeat who had to leave Pace University because she squandered her tuition money."
“Ray dropped out of college and returned to her family in the Adirondacks, in the process leaving behind angry creditors, some of whom “were threatening her,” a family insider told PAGE SIX.
“Her mom gave her money for tuition, but she never paid,” the source said. “She spent the money and then she didn’t want her mom to find out, so she borrowed money to pay her tuition, and then she couldn’t pay it back. She was bouncing checks, and some people were threatening her.”
All of that was taken from NYPost.

Of all the senators you could have picked as an example of trustworthiness (and admittedly there aren't many) you chose murderer Ted Kennedy?

All Rachel, all the time; grins and giggles and EVOO!
Don't hate her because she's so cute bubbly. Thank her
lawyer husband for all that exploitation!

Heck yes I trust Ms. Ray. She looked like she about puked when she ate some orange flavored meat at a French restraunt on her $40 Denver trip. Pretty consistent with my experience in the least fat state: bad tasting food is why people here are skinny.

I would honestly trust any of the Food Network (or Fox for that matter) personalities to give me a ride home before Ted Kennedy.

I saw the show with Oprah on as the other person did, and it's true turely eyes see what they want to see. When I saw the show Rachel was calm, and she didn't seem and if she had drank too much. She was her same bubbley self as she is every day, she has a hyper personality.
To the other comment that they don't trust her food, I watch her prepare her food every day and it look very appetizing, and if there's something in the way she cook that you disagree with challenge her, go on the show and have a cook off, that would be fun to watch, I for one would love to see what you can do or to see if you can do better. Let's see if the audience trust what you cook, a dare if you wish.
