Breakfast on a stick

We already know that not all prepackaged food combinations are a good idea (like the hot dogs with microwaveable buns), but manufacturers cannot resist trying to come up with new ones anyway. Pancakes & Sausage on a Stick is a frozen breakfast food, an all-in-one breakfast that is ready after just two minutes in the microwave. As good as chocolate chip pancakes are, the idea of a frozen chocolate chip pancake wrapped around a sausage just doesn't sound all that tempting. Possibly even less tempting is the blueberry pancake variety that is listed on the Jimmy Dean site.

This is one food that sounds as if it would have a better reception at a state fair, with other foods on sticks, where it can be with its own kind.

Oh please....a sausage on a stick wrapped in a pancake is nothing new.......they've been around for years.....my daughter and I don't like them....but my husband does!...... he heats one or two in the microwave as he takes his shower in the morning...wraps them in a paper towel and eats them with his coffee on the way to work.....why all the fuss? they're convenient.....I mean who has time to actually cook breakfast in the morning?

We Americans seem to have time for everything but what is really important: our families.

Make your hubby and your kids help you out like families of old.

When you prepare Sunday dinner, which should last you a few days during the work week, also have the kids or hubby make breakfast and freeze the rest for the rest of the week. You don't have to continue cheating your family or yourself. Just a little planning before time and making the hubby and kids industrious will do. This is THEIR family too. Make them work for it.
