We all know what the evil foods are. Stuff like candy, salty snacks, mayo, sour cream, soda. But there are some so-called "unhealthy" foods that just might be good for you.
According to Men's Health mag, foods like sour cream, chocolate, and booze can actually be good for you. We know that chocolate contains a lot of stuff that can be healthy (especially dark chocolate, the more cocoa the better) and we know that red wine has important antioxidants. But what about stuff like pork rinds and sour cream? Well, pork rinds have zero carbs, tons of protein, and while they have around 9 grams of fat per serving, that's still less than potato chips. And sour cream? While the percentage of fat per serving is high, the total isn't, and most have less fat than you'll get drinking an 8 ounce glass of 2% milk.
Of course, no one's saying to base your eating habits and all your meals around pork rinds and sour cream, but it's probably best not to eliminate so-called "bad" foods from your diet and to keep an open mind about your diet and how to eat things in moderation.

They actually made them fresh right about 50 feet away. Personally, I'll eat pork rinds but prefer chili-cheese corn chips.

They are great with cheese dip, or heated in the microwave for maybe 30-60 sec. makes them really tasty. I would not have lost my 30 pounds if I hadn't had my pork rinds !!! It works!!

I eat them instead of potato chips, but I also crush them and use them in place of bread crumbs and flour in such things as meatloaf and to "bread" chicken or cube steak before frying it. I also use them for dipping tuna-salad instead of eating it on bread. My grandparents used to make them homemade, and OMG how I miss that! I found a local company in Florence, Wallaces Pork Skins, and they are the best I have ever found that you can buy. They even have them in different flavors such as BBQ, Salt N Vinegar and a couple of others. The plain is good....BBQ is better! Yum!!

When eating a lot of animal saturated fat(omega 9) as in pork rinds, a good thing to keep in mind is the ratio that it must maintain w/ other fats such as vegetable, seed, and fish fats...omega 6 & 3. bottom line, if you're eating pork rinds, maybe you might consider chasing them with some fishoil or flaxseed oil to approach a better balance.

Everybody is gonna eat those nasty little pieces of skin! Aren't there other things that " Are not so bad for you," that people can eat, without having blocked arteries? Just remember folks that the Adkins Diet is something of the past, just like pork rinds should be ! ((((((HELLO))))))
