If you've been ignoring all the tips, tricks, news and wagging fingers from your friends and family about eating healthier, maybe this will change your mind about adding dark green leafy vegetables and fiber to your diet. According to health psychologist Lynn Edlen-Nezin and Robert Fried, authors of the book Great Food, Great Sex, the healthier your diet, the better your sex life. Edlen-Nezin says that because the "plumbing is all connected, everything that's good for your heart is good for your sexual health."So what do they recommend? Everything that's been touted for cardiovascular health is good for sexual health because they contribute in some way to blood-flow through the body: fruits, vegetables, lean meats, whole grains, and anti-oxidant rich foods. Just don't expect high performance after dinner of grilled chicken breast on a bed of blackberries, walnuts, and wheatberries. We know there's no such thing as instant magic.

Healthy people will definately feel better about themselves mentally and emotionally plus the benefits of better body functionality and performance will enhance their self esteem and self confidence. Unfortunately too many people don't want to give up their unhealthy diets and lifestyles.

If you are going to bitch about it DO something about it. It is true that extra weight decreases your sexual pleasure so healthy is better but enjoy who you are or change it.

point. It has to do with energy. When you have taken care of yourself, especially when you are older, you have the desire, the energy and the self esteem to be in that perfect place with that other person. Conversely when you are out of shape you cannot sustain much, this upsets and affects both parties.

He takes me to very upscale restaurants weekely and compliments every chance he gets...I think when it comes to sex and relationships either a man is in it for the sex and the relationship or just the sex. Has nothing to do with anything else!

Men need to take notice that it's not about looks and for all the beer drinkers out there. Take a look at yourself in the mirror PLEASEEEEEEE! Beer is not healthy. You men better be thinking about who is going to take care of you when your looks are gone and start treating women with the upmost respect. That is the healthy thing to do for yourself and your sexual partner.

of your life...no argument there. I just turned 50.
I still have a substantial sex drive(1 or 2 times a wk) I guess that is ok. I have never eaten right. I
love spicy foods. Don't like anything green(except
green beans) and drink on occasion. Why can't we just
do what comes natural and be happy. Why does there
always have to be something wrong with the way we live. Life is too short. Live it large.
