According to health psychologist Lynn Edlen-Nezin and Robert Fried, authors of the book Great Food, Great Sex, the healthier your diet, the better your sex life. Edlen-Nezin says that because the "plumbing is all connected, everything that's good for your heart is good for your sexual health."So what do they recommend? Everything that's been touted for cardiovascular health is good for sexual health because they contribute in some way to blood-flow through the body: fruits, vegetables, lean meats, whole grains, and anti-oxidant rich foods. Just don't expect high performance after dinner of grilled chicken breast on a bed of blackberries, walnuts, and wheatberries. We know there's no such thing as instant magic.

I agree. A good diet can only help, not only for a better sex life but for overall health. Healthy people will definately feel better about themselves mentally and emotionally plus the benefits of better body functionality and performance will enhance their self esteem and self confidence. Unfortunately too many people don't want to give up their unhealthy diets and lifestyles.

To Chris I am in my late 20s and have little no libido. My Dr found that my testosterone was low. Easy fix was a supplement called DHEA. You can get it at any drug store. Usually sold in 25mg I take one a day and it has helped. hope it helps you too!

To be healthy you have to eat healthy, drink in moderation, exercise get out there and walk, do something get that heart rate up. Just with these things your love life, your sex drive will be where you want it to be don't just have sex (make love) if you love the person that you are with it WILL be better. Do things for each other, things that will turn your mate on. Turn off the TV. I am in my 60's and my mate is in her not quite 60's. We eat healthy, exercise, no tv, good music, WE TALK, drink little make love a lot (not just sex) But eat healthy..
