They certainly don't need any sort of advertising to get me to their restaurant. All it took was news that McDonald's might serve breakfast all day and they have the promise of at least one visit from me.However, in China, McDonald's is using a pretty aggressive marketing strategy to sell their burgers. Rather than going the usual route they have gone in the past when entering foreign market of modifying their menu to suit the local tastes, McDonald's is pushing traditional American hamburgers like the Quarter Pounder and Big Mac on Chinese customers with sexually suggestive ads. Because beef is much more expensive than other meats in China, McDonald's is playing to the "luxury" of beef in their burgers. You can watch their tv commercials, which are even racier than the print ads, from a link on the online article.

Wendy's is better if you have to eat out anyway.
