A few weeks ago, we took a peek at some of the world's largest pizzas, and while this pizza might not qualify for that list, it definitely deserves a title of its own. It is one of the most bizarre pizzas that I have ever seen: the Aussie Hangover Cure. It should have been called the McCheeseburger Pizza. The pizza not only has four McDonald's cheeseburgers topping it, but an entire order of large french fries, both under and on top of the burgers, as well as bacon, cheese and tomato sauce. I won't hazard a guess as to the calorie content, but it's safe to say that it is a lot. And as for it acting as a hangover cure? It strikes me as something you might eat the night before you wake up with a hangover, not something you'd crave in the morning.

Okay, so my room mate and I calculated the amount of calories; and hypothetically speaking, this dish would amount to 3300. Each cheeseburger from McDonalds is 310, the large fries is 570, each strip of bacon (cooked) is 44, cheese is 352, and pizza crust is 850.
We are totally going to do it!

It's not a hangover cure without the Jalapenos. Also a can of good quality jailhouse chile (with beans) poured over the top would greatly help.
Or a few ladles full of mom's homemade chile verde. But that's way too much to expect.

Ok......I have never felt physically ill from looking at food.....even the deep fried burger wasn't greasy enough to make me feel sick. This is in a class of its own. And let me say, us Aussies DO NOT eat like that.....Maybe a bacon and egg roll.....but nothing like that. I think I'll be skipping dinner tonight....looking at the calories has made me full already.
