Long Island company to open a biodiesel plant

deep fat fryerUp until now, stories have popped up pretty frequently about individuals using fast food french fries oil to fuel diesel-powered cars or gasoline-powered cars fitted with converters. North American Bio Fuels of Bohemia has partnered with a local liquid waste hauler and will convert frying oil and other restaurant grease into fuel.

The converted restaurant grease can also be used to heat homes.
