
We have discussed the fact that juice is not the healthy drink that it appears to be because it can have as many calories and as much sugar as soda. For a snack that is more filling with fewer calories, it is a better idea to eat the whole fruit than to simply sip the juice.

I checked out their site and the nutritional information for each "drink" and I'm not sure why they called it "pear caramel" because I didn't see any evidence of caramel in it. It said it was pear, apple, and banana puree, and a 4-ounce serving had the same calories as the rest of them (70 cals), so I think maybe it tastes like caramel but there's no actual caramel in it.

Eat the whole fruit, peel and all (exceptions, such as bananas, aside); you'll get nutrition, fiber, and in most cases a lower calorie count with the real, fresh deal. Just as nature intended . . .
