It must depend on where you live in this country for the cost of wine.....Living in Northern California, most of our wine is under $10.00....it all depends on your taste buds to what you like.

Aside from Berringer, I like our local wines: Tabor Hill, and Oliver. I also like Yellow Tail...

The very best bargain in Chardonnay is a California wine, Corbet Canyon. Don't know why they can sell a large bottle so cheaply ($7 an change), but it's one of the best ever.

Does anyone realize Michigan now has some really great wines too? Let's not forget the midwest. You might be surprised. Try some from Karma Vista or Contessa, but you might need to order on-line.

I love wine. I am not such a snob that I don't like box wines. Anyone else? Or is it just me?

I prefer a Mustac wine. Hard for me to find, but I do like the Chillable red in the box wine. It has a good fruity taste, good with strawberrys added.

Hey Ron, if you like red or white wine that is sweet, look up Oliver Wineries out of Indiana... they have a soft red that is great and reasonable and a honey mead that also fits the bill

If you are looking for a nice selection of American wines that are award winning, please go to Lakeridgewinery.com it is a family owned vineyard in Clairemont, Fl. it is the maker of Southern Red, a sweet red wine, Ron you would love this, they also have a Southern Red, a Sunblush, a Pinot Blanc, and many more. No I am not a family member, just a 15 year customer, excuse me while I get another glass.

Parker is a snob (even with $10 wine)....Not one wine from California????? I may be kind of partial to CA wine since I live in northern CA but I cant believe he didnt list one US wine. 2 buck chuck has to be on the list (while at Trader Joes try Bears Lair Cab). As previously posted there are so many good domestic wines (WA, CA, ID, OR, PA, NJ, etc)....I ALWAYS disregard Parkers ratings (is he on Spains payroll?). Be adventurous and try something new and dont be afraid to ask for recommendations at the liquor store either.

Hi Ron, Chateau Elan out of GA make a really great Summer Blend with peach, apple and muscadine. My husband doesn't really care for wine but I notice he drinks this one anytime I bring it home. My father who loves a good wine also enjoys the flavor. I'm not even close to an expert but I've never had anyone tell me they didn't like it. The spring version is also a good pick, but if you like sweet wines the summer is a must! It's around $7 for a bottle and I've found it in wine shops and even in Kroger. However, it may not be as easy to locate outside of GA. I believe it can also be purchased direct from the winery www.chateauelan.com.

Where is Boones Farm???? I have been drinking this for years (ever since high school). It's a staple for cheap wine. You've gotta love it.
