Alphabet soup cutting board

Alphabet soup is a favorite for many kids, despite the fact that it always seems to look much better than it tastes. And if you taste it after the age of 8? Well, let's just say that the pasta-and-sauce concoction is not meant for adult taste buds. With this alphabet soup cutting board, you can still enjoy the nostalgic look of the soup-like concoction, without having to taste it. It is made of glass, textured on top, and is both stain and odor resistant. It's dishwasher safe, so it is a multipurpose board that can be used for anything.

For a different way to enjoy alphabet spaghetti/soup, check out the giant version at Pimp That Snack!

is it horrible for you knives? yup.

I will never understand why people insist on using glass and even granite as a cutting surface, all it will do is ruin the edge on your knives. and last I checked, plastic and even wood cutting boards are WAY cheaper than knives to replace.

We used to get the alphabet soup when I was a kid and it was a vegetable soup broth with veggies and alphabet-shaped pasta. Granted, it was canned soup, so it wasn't the highest quality, but it wasn't horrible. The spaghetti stuff, though, yes. It's awful. It's more like Spaghettios, but with alphabet-shaped pasta instead of the O-shaped pasta.

That said, don't EVER use a glass cutting board. They dull knives like nothing else (worse than cutting through bones) and if you drop it on the floor? Shards of glass, everywhere.

About the only thing worse than Alphaghetti were Scare-i-os, because they had little chunks of brown grit in them that were supposed to be meat. :-*
