Waffle spray

While the smell of waffle cones from Ben & Jerry's is alluring, I'm not sure how long that appeal would last once you invite it into your home. For $15, you can find out. The Ben & Jerry's online store also sells sprays that mimic their Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Chocolate Fudge Brownie flavors. I'm not sure if this stuff is edible, but part of me worries that people will start using them like other food sprays. I suppose they could also be used as perfume. I know that the friends of mine that worked at Ben & Jerry's always smelled like waffle cones when they got off work. It wasn't terrible, but I think they got sick of it pretty quickly.

When you open that door and take a whiff, you literally float to the counter. I can't say I'd want my living room to smell like that. I think I'll stick with Yankee Candles...

This led us to a site of gag gifts where they actually sell such a thing (like a hanging car air freshener) in the shape of a steak ! Now they have this food-scented air spray ! Wow. I ask you, what would stop a restaurant from pumping this stuff through the air to trick guests into ordering certain dishes?! I have already heard that if you are selling a house that it is good to have cookies or brownies baking in the oven.It used to be "Don't believe everything you think you see or read" Now we find out that we can't even trust our own noses !

"Wow. I ask you, what would stop a restaurant from pumping this stuff through the air to trick guests into ordering certain dishes?" Disney World does this... When you walk into the Magic Kingdom, they pipe the smell of popcorn in, and the next thing you see?... Surprise! Popcorn... also, I had heard they do the same near the bakery...

THEY HAVE CHOCOLATE OR VANILLA SCENTED BODY SPRAYS. WHY PAY $15 BUCKS FOR A FRIGGIN' SMALL BOTTLE OF BEN & JERRY'S ROOM FRESHENER WHICH JUST SMELLS LIKE CHOCOLATE?? PLUS, YOU'D PROBABLY HAVE TO PAY FOR SHIPPING & HANDLING FROM THEIR WEBSITE ORDER. JEEZ, CORPORATE AMERICA WILL DO ANYTHING TO MAKE A BUCK. WHAT IS THE BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE DOUGH AND CHOCOLATE FUDGE BROWNIE? IT ALL SMELLS LIKE CHOCOLATE OR VANILLA OR MAPLE! PERSONALLY, I LIKE THOSE APPLE SCENTED BODY SPRAYS. MM...MMM. SMELLS GREAT!

Well I can tell you, since I work directly above a Cold Stone Creamery. The first day they were making them I was in heaven. About halfway through the second day it got old. For a few weeks I wanted to gag every time I smelled waffle cone. Luckily now I can tune it out pretty well, not unlike my friend who once became impervous to manure-like scents from living adjacent to a waste treatment plant.

I think a waffle scent is neat-O...brings me back to home when my Mom(now gone) in the waffle iron(a wedding gift in the early 1930"s...also waffle's & chicken at Sunday evening light suppers by the fireplace in cool weather. Light supper as Sunday dinner at2 or 3 o'clock was the rule for most everyone back then up 'till 1950's. We used Log Cabin brand syrup in a log cabin tin (which I would save to use as a building with my Lionel train set. es..I will try this new spray if only to invoke happier times.....
