The Tasmanian Living Writers Week is running over the 11th to the 20th August. The organisers have organised, as the do, several statewide food and wine events to accompany the bookfest.
There are the usual literary lunches and dinners there is a session called Words Food and Wine where Tasmanian wine writers and local winemakers will speak about making words 'delicious on the page'. The writers are Mark Smith, Graeme Phillips and Tony Walker, while the local winemakers include Delamere's Richard Richardson. Venues include Barringwood Park vineyard, Ghost Rock vineyard and Launceston's Stillwater restaurant.
