I have to admit, I don't know much about gooseberries. In fact, I don't think I've ever tasted a gooseberry, or at least, not with my knowing it was a gooseberry. Nonetheless, this Gooseberry Tart looks damn tasty.
The Accidental Scientist chronicles the entire exercise of making a Gooseberry Tart from Martha Stewart, complete with the actual times it took to complete each task, like 40 minutes to de-stem gooseberries. What's better yet is the running total of number of hair strands pulled out in frustration with the recipe.
Looks like it was all worth it, though.
