The Sci-Fi fans among you should appreciate this. LiveJournal blogger theemdash recently hosted a Stargate party for some season premiers. As you can see, the centerpiece was a Cupgate-a replica of shows' namesake portal done with individually inscribed cupcakes. My knowledge of the two shows doesn't go past the original Kurt Russell movie, so I can't add much more insight than that. As the post says "mood: geeky."Stargate cupcakes

Yeah, totally geeky but pretty cool at the same time -- if that makes sense. I'm not a big, big Stargate fan, but even I could appreciate this centerpiece!
