Pepsi Jazz hits stores

When we first heard about Pepsi Jazz, we wondered whether it would be able to compete with all the other flavored (diet) colas on the market, since it seemed to be joining the game a bit late., especially considering that Pepsi said its first flavor would be Black Cherry French Vanilla. After all, Dr Pepper and Coca-Cola already have their cherry-vanilla colas in stores. Pepsi pinned its hopes on loyal fans switching back once their flavors were released.

Thanks to alert reader Kristina, we now know that Jazz is in the markets - at least, it is in Boston. She says that not only has she seen the first-promised Black Cherry Vanilla Pepsi, but other flavors like Strawberries and Cream and LimeBerry. She was able to taste a bottle of the Strawberries and Cream and reported that "it tasted rather a lot like cotton candy... but in a good way." Frankly, it doesn't sound all that appealing, but LimeBerry sounds intriguing.

Has anyone else tried these new flavors yet?

I knew I should've bought a few dozen cases when it was still on the market. Problem was, I could rarely find more than a couple of bottles at a time, it was usually sold out. I KNEW some moron would see a need to make room for yet another noxious concoction. All the while, the Pepsi Lime's collect dust on the shelves...

I tried both the Cherry and Strawberry versions, and I would say that I enjoyed the cherry version a whole lot more. Not too sweet, but it has a lot of flavor. The strawberry tastes...artificial

It tasted like bad strawberry bubble gum. The black cherry was only passable as a one time thing. I couldn't see myself wanting either of them again.

Stop following the companies and stay with what has always been a great product. Instead of making one for a few months stopping that and making something else!!!!

Some companies run a special during the summer and thats it. when you fall in love with a product and cant get it anymore they do not realize how many customers they lose. Like years ago when coke went changed their product and pepsi changed theirs. Coke found people like the orginal coke and they had to change it back. Change is not always good. especially to a foodie thats loyal!

I wasn't impressed. It tasted way too sweet (I had the diet version).
It really tasted as if someone had dissolved skittles in a pepsi.

I will not be purchasing it again.

Why not just hey, this is diet pepsi and its flavored... anyway, I think it's weird and I don't get the connection. As far as taste, I can't really tell you what it tasted like, so that's not a good sign? Mostly it tasted like flat diet pepsi. Anyway, it was only 80 cents at Target, do not too big a loss.
