For the wannabe wine geek - wine thermometer

wine thermometerOkay, so perhaps if you are a wine geek, you really would have one of these, but I'm so far from wine geekdom, that it's hard for me to understand the $62 price tag on a thermometer for making sure wine is served at he right temperature. I just tend to you know, grab the bottle of white out of the door of the fridge, pop the cork, and start drinking.

The thermometer is made by Ercuis. It is glass, and has a silver plate with recommended temperatures for different types of wine engraved on top. It measures approximately 6 7/10".
