Most of the recipes are short and can be made with ingredients that are already in your pantry or fridge, adding in sun-dried tomatoes, avocado or wasabi. Check out this recipe for "The Devil Made Me Do It" eggs, which are kicked up with habenero sauce and curry powder and are likely to be a hot dish at your next egg-making event.

Deviled Eggs: 50 Recipes from Simple to Sassy will help the home cooks in adding creative ideas to the egg yolk at a juncture when deviled eggs have become the homemade gourmet snack this year at every home.
The idea of turning the deviled eggs to deviled desserts with cheesecake and strawberries is quite appealing. Even the presentation of the deviled eggs in every ocassion including the gourmet ones is taken care of.
Beautifully wtitten and undoubtedly a functional theme-based book.

Single subject cookbooks are much more multifaceted and interesting (think of the ones about bread or soup and the dozens of variations). This one's admittedly has more than one recipe, but it's a very tight set of variations on ultimately one dish. Given that, I think it's fairly worthless.
