From the creator of the Ultimate Bacon Sandwich comes the latest in bacon-saturated dining: bacon cereal. This isn't bacon flavored cereal bits or bacon-shaped rice puffs. It is a bowl of chopped up bacon (one full pound) with blue cheese dressing acting as "milk" and bacon bits on top - like a wedge salad, in a bowl, without the formality of lettuce. The chef had this to say about eating it: "I'm not sure how to describe the feeling of eating this. It was far worse than the Ultimate Bacon Sandwich. It probably compares to being electrocuted while having your wisdom teeth removed by a back alley dentist. My tongue burned with each bite from the sodium content. I was certain that I couldn't finish the entire bowl, at least not without severe intestinal repercussions. But, I knew that under no circumstance was I ever going to do this again so it's a one shot deal. The last bite went down about as smoothly as a pile of broken glass, but I made it. "

PS. It's not as delicious as it sounds, lettuce is definitely needed to cut all that sodium from the bacon and dressing.

Bacon Breakfast?? That meal is a quite gross meal to start with a greasy day?? It takes only 5 minutes to grab a box of crispy rice or wheat cereal, pour milk, maybe sprinkle some sugar in it, add some fresh fruits and out through the door! When having bacon for breakfast..i would wrap them in paper towel, throw it in microwave, get the most oil soaked away in paper towel and it would be nicely crispy with eggs and hash brown..once in a while

I thought it was going to be bacon shaped cereal that was actually a sweetened breakfast cereal you eat with milk. Like one of those mind-trip kind of foods, like green ketchup or something. But it is a pound of the unhealthiest meat ever, even though I love bacon, mixed with blue cheese. Who sat down to come up with that idea? It makes me uneasy.

it's kind of weird, and i personally don't think that sounds so delicious, i would completly prefer to have have a warm bagle with cream cheese.but hey, if u wanna gain weight, gaim colerterol, have a salty taste in your mouth, and slit you throught with hard bacon, go ahead, it's ur life.
plus, its a four in one package.

When I first read the title, Bacon Cereal, well, I thought it would be like bacon flavored wheat flakes or something like that. Now if it was just that and not mixed with blue cheese dressing, I don't think it would be all that bad. My nephew loves bacon and eats sandwiches with just bacon on it or just eats bacon. Yeah, it's unhealthy but you only live once. Great idea anyway. Let's try some bacon flavored cereal.
