Wrap anything in bacon and see if I don't grab it and eat it. Well, if it's fois gras, I'd think twice (only because I don't love the texture of fois gras), but would probably still eat it.
These are dried plums wrapped in thick bacon, then cooked until the bacon is cooked to an almost hard crunch. We had these at Warszawa, a Polish restaurant in Santa Monica, California, where we certainly wouldn't have expected to see anything except pierogis and sausages. They are similar to the Roasted Dates from AOC in Los Angeles, but those are stuffed with a tiny sliver of Parmigianno-Reggiano. Both of them were fantastic.

Put bacon on baking tray, sprinkle liberally with brown sugar and chopped pecans.
Bake until the bacon is crisp. The brown sugar will partially caramelize and the pecans will just be toasted.
It's decadent. Totally.
