The Vegetarian Grill, Cookbook of the Day

Most books about grilling focus on meat, but meat isn't the only option for the grill. There are lots of vegetarian options that are great for barbecues, whether you are a vegetarian or are simply looking for something to grill other than corn. The Vegetarian Grill : 200 Recipes for Inspired Flame-Kissed Meals has lots of vegetarian ideas - and more than just simple, grilled vegetables, too. There are recipes for grilled pizzas, pasta dishes, and desserts in the book, which is a straightforward, practical one. One of the Amazon reviewers recounted his experience of taking this book to a BBQ competition and grilling up four dishes for passersby to taste. Everything sounds like it was well received, and if a crowd of serious meat-lovers will scarf grilled cauliflower and sweet potatoes, who won't?

The only thing that you might need in addition to the book is a vegetable grill rack, a device that keeps small veggies from slipping between the grates of the grill, which the author of the book heartily recommends and calls for frequently.
