"Secret menu" at Jamba Juice

jamba juiceWe all know about the "secret" menu at In N Out Burger (which isn't so secret when they post it on their website!). Who doesn't love to order his or her Double-Double, "Animal Style?" But did you know that there is a "secret" menu at Jamba Juice?

Mighty Foods has confirmed with a "secret" source that Jamba Juice does, indeed, have a secret menu of smoothie flavors that are either back-catalog flavors or are flavors that a so-called health food company couldn't possibly sell. The ones they've heard of so far are: Strawberry Shortcake (I guess the "cake" part doesn't sound very healthy), White Gummy Bear (for which we've found a recipe), PB+J (though I'm sure Jamba Juice has a peanut butter smoothie), Starburst, Fruity Pebbles, Push-pops, and Skittles.

I wonder what kind of looks I'd get if I asked for a White Gummy Bear with a shot of wheatgrass?

I worked there (in a relative high mid level managemnt position) and have NEVER heard anything like that. if those do exist it is on a store by store basis as I can assure you that Jamba does not regularly stock those items. And as a health code rule, a store should not take items over the counter from customers.

6 OZ Lemonade
6 OZ Soymilk
1 Rasberry Sherbet
1 Frozen Yogurt
1 Sorbet
2 Strawberries

It is really good, so if you want one just write this down and ask someone at a Jamba juice to make it, they will. They have to.

and the reason for the unerground smoothies isnt because its unhealthy-because the peanut butter mood is up and is way fattening.

people over time have created their own smoothies (customers) some being more popular than others. so they give them little names of wat they taste like.

Well when they are entered into the computer. the pos (point of sales) automatically counts inventory and since the custom made smoothies arent on the computer.

inventory started coming up short. so thus jamba made the underground smoothies. so inventory will be more precise.

i dont know if that made sense to anyone but i just wanna say you ppl are funny

wouldn't one raise their insulin levels severly?
Is it good to promote health at these stores? Sure
they taste great! That's what America loves, things that taste good. But from looking at claims, why doesn't Jamba focus on flavor and fun rather than health. This would make more sense to me.
With all the diabetics out there I couldn't help but over here one saying how their going to start drinking Jamba everyday to get fit?
What? ........
Why doesn't Jamba just start adding more fun flavors and go that route. That's why my friends go anyway.
Why battle with all the health claims?
Make smoothies taste good!

I think the 'underground' flavors just make it seem more exciting - its a great idea!
By the way, you can always ask for the protein if you want to balance out all the sugar.

I've worked at a Jamba for a number of years in a management position and can tell you that all of these drinks do exist and that they are made with ingredients that are already in the store. The problem is with the exception of the White Gummy Bear, Pink Starburst and Starwberry shortcake you might have a hard time finding employees that actually know how to make the drinks.

Most of the drinks on the so called "secret menu" were created by employees at various stores (for example the White Gummy Bear was created by an employee at a Hawaii location) and most of these receipts are passed on by word of mouth. Although just recently Jamba sent out receipts to all of the stores for the White Gummy Bear, Strawberry Shortcake and Pink Starburst. I recommend that you try them, they are all very good and I promise you won't get funny looks because people order them often (especially the white gummy bear) Oh and I'll let you all in on a little secret, the Peanut Butter and Jelly is just a strawberries wild with peanut butter.
